The Mid-Autumn festival is a Chinese cultural festival to celebrate the bountiful harvest in China.
During this time, families gather together by sharing meals, eating and looking forward to a prosperous new year.
The moon cake is featured during this time as it takes the round shape of the full moon that symbolizes bliss and luck, family reunion, happiness and completeness.
We suggest that members bring a piece or two of this delicacy and share with all our members, sipping on delicious Chinese Tea and share some cultural history that we the Teochew Nang holds true to our heart.
Members may choose to have Dim Sum after, please indicate if you will like to participate so we can book the table in advance.
